I am so happy I discovered Piedmontese beef. I first tasted it here in the form of franks. My next purchase was the burgers and this bulk ground beef - for my spaghetti sauce. It did not disappoint. It seems to be a good ratio of fat/lean. So many premium varieties of ground beef you have to drain half the fat/flavor away but this worked out just right. I did not have to drain the browned meat for my spaghetti sauce. I could have but it was not enough to warrant the effort and the finished product was quite tasty.
