As of June 2020, we are excited to announce that we are now offering Local Delivery of all our products to our customers residing in Northern NJ.
We’re always striving to be the best at what we do, and this new feature will continue our tradition of industry leading customer service. All orders will be delivered directly to your home in Northern NJ on our fleet of professional refrigerated trucks, expertly packed in insulated containers to ensure product integrity.

What is Local Delivery?
Fossil Farms is excited to offer Local Delivery of our all natural meats, farm raised game and prepared foods to our customers. This is a new shipping method available to our customers in select areas of Northern, NJ. Simply select “Local Delivery” at Checkout and your order of $180 or more will be delivered to your home on our fleet of vehicles.
How much does Local Delivery cost?
Zero, zilch, nada, nothing…no really! Fossil Farms is on a mission to serve our community and offer more access to our all natural meats, farm raised wild game, prepared foods and groceries. There is no added cost for Local Delivery.
Is there an order Minimum for Local Delivery?
Yes. We ask that all orders for Local Delivery are at least $180 or more. If your order does not meet that minimum, you can choose to have it shipped via UPS or to Pick It Up in Store at checkout.
Which towns in New Jersey do you deliver to?
*We are not yet able to deliver to every town in each of these counties, but are working hard to expand our Local Delivery capabilities. You can confirm if we currently offer Local Delivery to your town using our Zip Code Checker.
We currently deliver to select towns and cities in Morris, Somerset, Bergen, Passaic, Essex, and Hudson counties, which include (but are not limited to) the areas of Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, Paramus, Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Clifton, Paterson, Wayne, Montclair, Bloomfield, Newark, The Oranges, Livingston, Somerville, Basking Ridge, Warren, Bernardsville, Madison, Morristown, Morris Plains, Parsippany, Hanover, Randolph, Rockaway, Denville, Dover, Boonton, and Lincoln Park.

Why do you only provide Local Delivery to Northern New Jersey?
In our 23 year history, Fossil Farms has never offered local delivery directly to our customers’ homes. We pride ourselves in not being the biggest, but being the best at what we do, so with that in mind, we are starting our new Local Delivery program with a limited geographic delivery zone, with the hopes of expanding it over time.
I live in Southern NJ or in a NJ county that is not listed. Can I still order Prepared Foods?
YES! Even though we do not currently offer Local Delivery to Southern New Jersey (or any other unlisted county), at this time, you can still order our Prepared Foods for delivery to your home via UPS.
I don’t live in New Jersey. Can I still order Prepared Foods?
Unfortunately, not at this time. The USDA dictates that what we prepare in our commercial kitchen in New Jersey can only be shipped within the state. We hope to expand our delivery area for Prepared Foods over time, so check back here for updates.
Please note that these ordering and delivery restrictions only apply to our Prepared Foods. Customers residing outside of NJ can still order all of the other products from our extensive product catalog.
When will I receive my order?
All orders must be placed by Sunday at 5PM for delivery the following week. We will make every effort to deliver orders received Monday through Friday within 48 hours of receipt, but we cannot guarantee that at this time. We are currently delivering to Morris and Somerset counties on Mondays, Passaic and Bergen counties on Wednesdays, and Essex and Hudson counties on Fridays (*Schedules are subject to change). If you need your order sooner, simply choose Pick Up In Store at checkout, and you can come to our location in Boonton, NJ for contactless curbside pickup.

Can I pick up my Online Order at your store in Boonton, NJ?
Yes! Simply select “Store Pickup” at checkout. You will see all available pickup dates at the time of purchase; select which date you’d like to pick up your order. The Fossil Farms Market & Kitchen team will email you to confirm your pick up day.
Once you arrive at our store, you can come in and tell us your name and/or order number and we’ll grab your order. If you prefer curbside pickup, please give the store a call at 973-917-3276 when you arrive, let us know your name and/or order number and we’ll bring your order to your vehicle.
*Please Note: Orders received by 12pm, Monday – Friday, will require a 24 hour lead-time for Store Pickup. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be available for Store Pick Up the following Monday after 2pm. Our Retail Store is Open Monday-Saturday, 11am-5pm, and Sunday, 10am-2pm.*
How is my Order Packaged?
We use an insulated inner cooler box, gel ice packs and a corrugated cardboard outer box for all Local Delivery orders. This ensures that product will stay fresh and/or frozen outside of refrigeration for up to 24 hours. All orders are delivered on our professional fleet of refrigerated vehicles by our team of dedicated drivers.
Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
No. We will confirm your delivery date ahead of time but you do not need to be present in order to receive your order. All Orders are packed in insulated cooler boxes to keep products fresh and/or frozen for up to 2 days. Our drivers are instructed to leave the Order on a doorstep or with a doorman if the recipient is not present at the time of delivery. No signature is required.
