Grown in Sullivan County, NY, Barbarie Ducks are raised in open air arena style coops, giving the ducks plenty of room to exercise and move about. This directly impacts the great flavor and tenderness of the duck. Their distinct flavor is modestly rich with a thinner fat cap. The Barbarie Ducks are air cooled, not water cooled, at the time of processing. This process makes the duck’s skin nice and crispy when cooked. All of our Ducks are 100% naturally raised and are part of the “Never Ever Program”, where antibiotics, steroids and hormones are never used.
