Turkey Whole Bird

We’ve ordered multiple turkeys from Fossil Farms and they are truly the best Turkey we’ve ever had. They’re so juicy and tender. Last year we tried a supermarket turkey after several Fossil Farms turkeys, same brine, prep etc., and it was truly awful. We’ve become so spoiled with Fossil Farms that we can no longer eat anything else.

We ordered a Fossil Farms turkey for the first time this year based on excellent reviews. The turkey was absolutely delicious! Just two things: first, the defrost time, as suggested, was not quite enough (it could have used another half a day for a 22 lb. turkey) and second, there were a TON of pin-feathers that still had to be removed. It took another 30-40 minutes from my husband and I to clear them - messing up the start time for the turkey. Next year, we'll build in more time. All that said, the turkey was tasty and cooked beautifully.
