Fossil Farms has created the most delicious kangaroo burgers available. Our Kangaroo Burgers are 100% all natural lean and nutritious meat that has a flavor similar to Beef or Venison with a slightly sweet finish. 

These Kangaroo Burgers pair well with marinades and spicy or sweet sauces, like teriyaki or thai sweet chili.  Try serving with blue cheese, pickled red onion, fennel and butter lettuce for a unique and tasty burger!

Kangaroo meat is high in protein and very low in fat. Kangaroo meat has a very high concentration of Conjugated Linoleic Acid when compared with other foods. CLA has been attributed with a wide range of health benefits including anti-carcinogenic and anti-diabetic properties, in addition to reducing obesity and atherosclerosis. Fossil Farms’ Kangaroo, while lean, is very tender and has a subtle gamey flavor. 

Kangaroo has historically been a staple source of protein for indigenous Australians. Kangaroo meat is sourced from abundant species of Kangaroo’s that are harvested in the wild. The Kangaroo harvest is supported by a wide range of professional ecologists in Australia based on the position that it is better to hunt a wild animal, rather than clear land in the fragile ecosystem of the country’s rangelands for livestock.
