As part of our first order from Fossil Farms, we ordered the bone-in smoked ham. The online description said it would be 7-8 lbs… It was 10+ lbs, so thanks for the lagniappe! We cooked it for Christmas dinner and the meat was beautifully marbled without being fatty, perfect for dinners and sandwiches all week. Then we used the bone and a generous portion of the meat for our New Year’s Day Hopping’ John, which was fall-off-the-bone perfection. I’d call that lucky!
We will definitely order this ham again for any occasion, along with the Duroc boneless chops and wild boar sausage… Great quality and value.
