Gotta love Yak!

The ground Yak meat here is so good. If you haven't had it, I'd describe it as a slightly sweeter, richer beef? Definitely worth checking out!

I’ve had ground Yak several times and there’s something that keeps me coming back. Very lean, sweet, similar to ground Elk. A must try. I’m making a ground Berkshire pork and Yak meatloaf
With home made wild boar bacon base and the few leftover slices of moulard duck bacon to top. Baked uncovered on a rack at 350 for about 35 mins or so till internal got to 135 degrees. Put it under the broiler for a few to crisp my bacon and pulled.. rest.. Incredibly moist and better the next day.
