The Wild Boar 8 Bone Frenched Rib Rack is a premium cut from wild boar. Our butchers expose the bones for an elegant presentation that makes this rack a centerpiece-worthy dish.

This rack can be roasted whole, portioned into bone-in wild boar chops, or used to create a frenched crown roast when paired with a second rack. Wild boar offers a deeper, more robust flavor compared to domestic pork. Season with salt and pepper and roast to medium-rare to keep the meat juicy and flavorful.

Fantastic Twist to Pork for Our New Year's Day Tradition

These game ribs are very lean and healthful so do not need to be cooked too long. We scored them, used the well-regarded Black Smoke brand spices, smoked them over Carolina Hardwood on the Green Egg, sprayed them with a bit of red wine vinegar and fruit juice mixture at the end, applied a little butter and sage, wrapped them for just a bit, and enjoyed the feast with black-eyed peas and collards -- sure to be a lucky Year of the Tiger!
