I love the camel !

Special meat, know before you cook

Fossil was very efficient and agile in their service, they were quick and professional, but camel meat is not like any beef or mutton, it needs special way of processing and cooking.

The ones i got, were not the best cuts for sure.

Great taste

But a bit too chewy for our preference. We'll stick to the camel burgers for the flavor, which we really like a lot.

Phenomenal

I recently cooked up the Camel Strip Steak. The steak I received was a wedge shape, so I seasoned it just as recommended with salt, pepper, and garlic. I put some oil in a skillet over medium heat and cooked it on each side for 3 minutes. It was still fairly under cooked so I let it rest for about 10 minutes and then sliced it very thin. While it was resting I deglazed the pan with some bourbon, added the juices from the packaging, and some water. I let that reduce about 75% and put the sliced steak (and it's juices) back in the pan. I quick cook on each side and I removed the steak, straining the pan sauce into a small ramekin.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but when I took a bite my first thought was... wow! Fantastic! The camel steak was tender, flavorful, and quite simply phenomenal!

I would buy this again, and recommend it to everyone!
