The Lamb Kentucky "T-Bone" Chops come from the striploin and filet, connected on the bone. The bone separates the strip and filet in the shape of a "T", hence the name.
The Lamb Kentucky "T-Bone" Chops are portioned to about about 1.5 inches thick, with 5 pieces per package. These chops shine when simply seasoned with salt and pepper, and preparation is best over the grill or pan seared to medium rare for the best eating experience!
The Lamb are never administered antibiotics, hormones or steroids, making our Lamb a 100% all natural products. Unlike most lamb, Kentucky Katahdin Lamb is not grain finished but instead, finished with a proprietary blend of high-quality roughage, minerals, select grain and distiller’s stillage—they are in Kentucky after all—for the optimal health of the ruminant.
