Whole Partridge, cage-free raised. This all-natural game bird offers a delicate, rich flavor with tender meat. Partridge is a smaller bird, ideal for individual servings or intimate dinners.

Partridge can be roasted whole, similar to Cornish hen, or broken down into parts for braising or pan-searing. The mild flavor pairs well with sweet vegetables, fruits like pears or apples, and white wine sauces. Roast with herbs like thyme and rosemary for a classic preparation.

Cooking: Roast at 375°F until internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the breast. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Storage: Keep frozen. Thaw in refrigerator before cooking.

Average weight: 14-18 oz per bird. Arrives frozen.

I got to enjoy Partridge

Although I've had other game birds and especially love slow-smoked pheasant, I hadn't tried partridge. So pleased Fossil Farms exists. Lovely bird, great service, reasonable price.

Very tasty - just enough for two.

I roasted it wrapped in streaky bacon, and it came out moist and tender. If you are going to be cooking for four people, I recommend you get two birds.

Excellent Flavor and Quality

The partridge was succulent, light, and better than chicken. The texture was tender and cooked beautifully. It had a clean, rich flavor without being heavy. I will definitely order again.

great product

I ordered 10 partridges for Christmas. Not only did they arrive on time and the date I asked for I was given tracking and emails to check the status. The birds were terrific, everyone enjoyed them. Fresh and tasty. Will be ordering again form Fossil Farms.

Partridge Was A Winner

Very flavorful and easy to prepare. They were much larger than I expected. Will order again in the future. Tackling the squab next.
