Yak is high in protein, low in cholesterol and for those who adhere to levitical dietary law can also enjoy yak.dollar for dollar pound for pound yak surpasses store bought beef as yak is a much richer and satisfying meat. All my friends who have dined with me on yak we’re pleasantly surprised. If you haven’t already tried yak, order some and fire up the grill! Just keep in mind, they cook in just a few minutes.
